What is A Home for Every Orphan?

  • A partnership between ten Ukrainian, Russian and American Christian orphancare organizations
     
  •  A nationally led initiative supporting adoption and foster care by believers within their own countries.
     
  •   A collaborative effort initially focused on Ukraine and Russia, two nations that share over 4 million orphans.

Home For Every Orphan Accomplishments:

In the last two years, A Home for Every Orphan’s Russian and Ukrainian partners have:

         Placed approximately 1,000 abandoned children in nurturing Christian homes with nationals

         Provided training seminars for hundreds of adoptive and foster families

         Developed and used motivational media to teach approximately 200,000 individuals of the need and process for adoption

         Started two telephone hotlines to provide in-home counseling support to adoptive and foster parent

         Constructed large family foster homes providing the physical capacity for more than 60 children to be adopted and fostered

         Provided food, medical supplies, clothing and educational training on disease prevention to children on the street

         Organized Christian summer camps for adopted and foster children, as well as for homeless children
