Galina Obrovets spearheads the Orphan Initiative movement in Moscow, Russia, motivating Russian Christians to adopt orphans through conferences, church presentations, contacts with government officials, the media, and other means.

Through its School for Adoptive and Foster Families, this Russian national organization provides training seminars and produces training resources for families who have adopted orphans or are considering adoption or foster care.

Mercy Ministries is located in Vladimir, Russia and provides practical help and communicates hope to orphans, children at risk, and needy families. We come alongside and assist Russian people in need.

The Grace Baptist Church in Odessa, Ukraine has had an ongoing outreach to orphans, beginning with a Christian orphanage, which Christians constructed next to their church. Orphans live there in a Christian family setting. This visionary church is also building transition apartments for older orphans.
